Warranty and Refund Policy for Refurbished Devices and Accessories
We are pretty sure that you love using refurbished phones. When you purchase a refurbished device from us and you are not happy with that, we have got your back. Refurbished phones have a limited warranty to ensure your satisfaction. You may request a replacement or refund from our customer support team within 7 days of purchase if the device experiences a major failure. Moreover, compensation is available for any other foreseeable loss or damage. In case the product does not meet acceptable quality standards, and the issue is not classified as a major failure, you are also eligible for a replacement or refund.
However, you should keep in mind that this warranty does not cover faults caused by improper use or mishandling of the device. We also ensure a 12-month warranty from the original purchase date, covering defects in materials and workmanship when the device is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines. This warranty aligns with protections granted under Australian Consumer Law.
Exclusions from Warranty and Refund
The following conditions void eligibility for a warranty claim or refund:
- Misuse or Mishandling—Any faults or damage resulting from improper use or careless handling of the device.
- Accidental or External Damage—This may include damage due to drops, impact, abuse, natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, fires, storms), transportation accidents, liquid exposure, excessive pressure, or any external force.
- Liquid Damage—Due to the refurbishment process, water resistance may not be maintained.
- Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications—If the device has been repaired, tampered with, or modified by an unauthorized party.
- Wear and Tear—Normal aging of the device, such as screen wear, back cover deterioration, or worn-out buttons.
- Software Alterations—Includes any modifications to the operating system, such as jailbreaking.
- Consumable Parts—Items like screen protectors or coatings designed to degrade over time.
- Cosmetic Damage—Surface imperfections such as scratches, dents, or broken plastic components.
- Non-Original Accessories—Damage caused by third-party hardware, including non-genuine chargers and cables.
- Tampered IMEI or Serial Number—If the device’s IMEI or serial number has been changed or removed.
- Unauthorized Software Installation—Devices modified to run unapproved software.
- Expired Warranty—If the issue arises after the warranty period has lapsed.
- Lack of Proof of Purchase—If no valid proof of purchase is provided or if the details do not match the product’s serial number or have been altered.
- Locked Devices—Devices that are password-locked or iCloud-locked.
Non-Returnable Items
Please note that certain products are not eligible for refunds, including:
- Tempered glass screen protectors
- Phone cases
- Consumables (e.g., cables, wires, plugs, chargers)
- Gift cards
